Reverse Transcriptase

ARROW Reverse Transcriptase

Description
ARROW-Script Reverse Transcriptase :
Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus Reverse Transcriptase (M-MLV RT) Uses single-stranded RNA or DNA in the presence of a primer to synthesize a complementary DNA strand. The enzyme is used to synthesize first-strand cDNA up to 6 kb.

M-MLV is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase and consists of a single subunit with a molecular weight of 71kDa. It can be used in cDNA synthesis with RNA or RNA: DNA hybrids as templates. M-MLV is the preferred reverse transcriptase for long mRNA templates (>6kb), since its RNase H activity is weaker than commonly used reverse transcriptase. It greatly reduces the degradation of RNA templates and therefore increases the productivity.

ARROW-Script Reverse Transcriptase I I I :
ARROW-Script Reverse Transcriptase I I I , is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase and with reduced RNase H activity and increase thermal stability. ARROW-Script Reverse Transcriptase I I I can synthesize 9.5kb products and provide high specificity, high yields and more full length cDNA.

ARROW-Script RT Mix (2X) :
ARROW-Script RT Mix (2X) provides a sensitive and easy-to-use solution for two-step RT-PCR. This Mixture includes just one tube — comprehensive of reagents required for successful reverse transcription. Mixture containing reverse transcriptase(M-MLV), dNTP mixture, reaction buffer and oligo d(T) or Random hexamers or Mixture of oligo d(T) and Random hexamers. The unique blend of oligo (dT) and random hexamer primers in the reaction mix works exceptionally well with a wide variety of targets.
ARROW-Script RT Mix (2X) produces excellent results in both real time and conventional RT-PCR.
